About $BACKRUB
BackRub was the original name of the search engine two graduate students built in their dorm in 1996. It ranked pages by counting their backlinks, their back rubs. In 1997 it was renamed Google. In 1998 it received a $100,000 check, moved into a garage with bright blue carpet, and stored its first hard drives in a cabinet built out of toy bricks, because real server racks were too expensive.
That research project is now worth about two trillion dollars. Nobody can buy 1996 back. But you can buy $BACKRUB: a memecoin on stonkfun.xyz whose market pair is tokenized GOOGL stock, the onchain version of the share (that one is backed 1:1 by the real thing; ours is backed by sentiment). The thesis is simple: every great backlink deserves a back rub.

Trading Tax: 4% Buy / 4% Sell
Every $BACKRUB trade has a token tax. A 4% tax is charged when you buy, and a separate 4% tax is charged when you sell. These are two separate charges, not one 4% charge covering both trades. For example, a $100 buy incurs a $4 buy tax, leaving $96 after the token tax. A later $100 sale incurs its own $4 sell tax, leaving $96 after the token tax. Network fees and slippage are separate.
